NCDC & ICET Rapid Spoken English Module Day 6: Categorized Vocabulary Practice

Activity 1: NCDC Prayer Song (one student leading).

Activity 2: A student gives individual welcome to faculties & other students in regional language.

Activity 3: Give welcome to all with song. A student leads.

Activity 4: Each student shares the experience regarding yesterday’s 5 practices. A student coordinates (anchors) the program:

(a) Practice with their family members.

(b) Voice Practice with your 3 sets of partner students over phone and opinion about the partners.

(c) Game show Video Test and the result.

(d) Overall improvement after the End Letter Word Puzzle.

Activity 5: Faculty shows a pair demo practice of Categorised Vocabulary Game.

Activity 6: Students practice Categorised Vocabulary Game as pairs and thrills after the practice. Others appreciate with congrats song.

Activity 7: Faculty shows a demo of open challenge practice of Categorised Vocabulary Game.

Activity 8: Students practice open challenge practice of Categorised Vocabulary Game.

Activity 9: Faculty clears the doubts of students.

Giving Home Assignment to students:

A. Phone voice call practice of Categorised Vocabulary Game between the first set of 2 students. Category: Fruits, Trees, Vehicle names, Job names, Tools names, Birds etc. (Faculty prepare the list of pairs and put it in the group).

B. Phone voice call practice of Categorised Vocabulary Game between the second set of 2 students. Category: Vegetables, Names of Drinks, Plant names, Body parts, Action words, Subject names etc. (Faculty prepare the list of pairs and put it in the group).

C. Phone voice call practice of Categorised Vocabulary Game between the third set of 2 students. Category: Home appliances, Animals, Dance names, Cereals, Kitchen utensils, Dress names etc. (Faculty prepare the list of pairs and put it in the group).

D. Practice Categorised Vocabulary Game with your family members especially children.
