Nowadays, Montessori method of teaching is popular compared to our traditional teacher centered method of education. Montessori method of teaching is based on the philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori. In this method, they gave importance to self-learning and hands-on experiential learning. Most of the parents prefer Montessori schools for their kids pre-schooling. Only a well- trained teacher could create a learning atmosphere to bring out the maximum potential and fostering the love of learning in kids. So Montessori training courses are needed for nurturing our teacher’s skills. Here I am adding some of my aspects why this course is so important:
- UNDERSTANDING MONTESSORI PHILOSOPHY AND METHODOLOGY:
In this course they provide a good idea about Montessori philosophy and methodologies. It includes how we can create a child-centered approach, hands-on experiential learning which promotes critical thinking, creativity, curiosty and moreover independence in learning. Thus we can foster a love of learning in our kids.
- LEARNING CHILD DEVELOPMENT:
Montessori training courses provide a deep knowledge about child development in different stages of their growth and how it related to Montessori education. This is needed for creating an effective learning atmosphere appropriate for each kid.
- CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT SKILLS:
This course helps the trainees to develop an effective classroom management skills like how to maintain a peaceful classroom atmosphere, how to manage each kids behavior, how to build a positive relationship between teacher and students, etc.. Thus we can manage the social and emotional development of kids.
- PRACTICAL TRAINING:
Montessori training courses also provide a practical training for their trainees so that they can learn how to use the Montessori materials and teaching aids, how they can build a rapport with the kids, how they can assess the students and how to develop a proper lesson plan appropriate for each kid’s need.
